Well summer is coming to the end for the Wall boys and me. We have enjoyed our summer! We were able to go on 3 beach trips and Georgia.
Georgia...We were able to spend time with Kara, Gabe, my parents and the Karns. The days were full of activity. We went to the Baby land hospital. There we named a sweet baby boy. Kara and I enjoyed the baby land hospital as little girls. We went to the location of where the hospital was and were sad bc it was closed down. However we found out that they had moved to a new location. This location was A LOT larger and looked like a huge plantation house. It was so neat inside and the boys enjoyed it even though they said it was full of dolls. :) Uncle Gabe also treated us to a gem mining experience which was a GREAT first for us. The boys were so excited to find their gems. They are in their room ready to be displayed for all friends and family to see. Then we went to a gorge and said to say at this moment the name has slipped my mind. We all went down the suspended bridge and were able to look around and see the beautiful views. We went to visit the town of Helen. Which brought back many fun memories of days spent tubing the river with my cousins and Kara.
Beach trip 2 was spent with the Howards and Walls. This year we went to Ocean Isle. It was a nice quiet family beach. The weather was great. We were able to play many games of soccer volleyball and also spent an hour or more of volley ball passing. There was also a night of learning some dance moves on the deck. Our poor neighbors had to endure that night. haha
Beach trip 3 was an all girls trip with two cute blonde boys. We were able to go to Myrtle Beach with our friend Liz, compliments of her parents. It was a fun week. The first 3 days were cloudy with a few sprinkle showers but we still headed to the beach and enjoyed the sand and ocean. The boys were able to relax on tubes in the lazy river. Their first lazy river ride brought them lots of laughs and smiles. We stayed on the 18th floor which had a great view of the beach and the strip. Our pool was on the 6th floor roof which was very neat.
There are pics from each trip on my face book page..feel free to check them out if you have not already.
It is a little bitter sweet as I write this. My summer break is soon to be over but I have enjoyed every day. I guess I need to get ready to wake up early again. I have said I will practice getting up this week.
